The Fifth Scientific Session “BioMedicine and Quality of Life” (BMQL 2025), 4–5 December 2025 is a traditional scientific event for the Institute of Biophysics and Biomedical Engineering, which welcomes young researchers, PhD students and postdocs willing to present their fundamental and applied scientific developments in the following research directions of the research field of biomedicine and quality of life:

  • Biomaterials, cellular and tissue engineering
  • Molecular and cellular biophysics
  • Biological membranes and biomacromolecules
  • Biomedical physics
  • Excitable structures and motor control
  • Biomedical engineering
  • Bioinformatics

The event will take place in Bl. 21 of the Academic Complex “4th Km” in Sofia.
