Scientific Interests

My research interests focus on the interdisciplinary area between pharmacy, chemistry and biomedical engineering. My main research areas include:

• QSPR/QSAR modeling and prediction of properties of bioactive substances;
• Synthesis and study of peptides and metal-peptide complexes, including their solubility and biological activity;
• Pharmaceutical business and healthcare innovation management;
• Biomedical technologies and their application in diagnostics, therapeutics and new drug development;
• Prototyping through 3D scanning and printing in the context of biomedical applications;
• Public health and the interaction between the pharmaceutical sector and health policies.

I have a strong interest in science communication, innovation and technology transfer in healthcare.
